Immediately after your first login to Port, the Language Services Agreement (LSA) will be displayed. You can either take the time to read and sign it right away, or leave this for later. Keep in mind, however, that you cannot take on work from us until the agreement has been accepted. More about the LSA here.
You will then land on your dashboard homepage, where you can see what’s going on at a glance. There are a number of things happening on the dashboard and you can read about them here, but for now, let’s focus on new tasks. Since this is your first time logging in, you will not have any tasks In progress, but may already have tasks Offered to you.
To interact with a new offer, simply select it in the list of New Tasks Offered to You
This will open a detailed view of the task.
Read through the task details, paying special attention to the quantity, deadline and task value, and if you decide this one’s for you - hit the Accept button.
Congratulations, you’ve just accepted your first task in Port!
